Obama the puppet. Obama announces executive orders as mouthpiece for Greg Craig.
It would be funny if it wasn’t so sad and dangerous.
Several times you can see Obama stop and question his lawyer, Greg Craig, about what he’s doing, or what’s in the executive order that he is reading. Two things are evident here. One, that the “smartest man ever elected President” does not know what’s in the orders that he is reading in front of the media, both print and television. They’re supposed to be his orders, but he clearly does not know what’s in them. Two, every time he asked a question, he’s not asking his national security team, or military advisors, or anyone who will be affected by or have to execute his orders. He’s asking his lawyer.
Is Obama a sock puppet or a leader? This is change? He literally asks his lawyer what policy is going to be, and then repeats verbatim the answers he’s given, as if he’s answering questions in some sort of hearing. Why doesn’t he already know or understand the executive orders he’s signing? And why does he look like a ventriloquist’s dummy, like Greg Craig says the words and they come out of Obama?
If Bush did something like this, there would accusations and speculation that Bush was not really running things. We would hear, as we actually did many times, that Bush was a front man for the “real power” behind the scenes. We will hear that now from the same critics in the media and punditry?
If what was believed to be true by liberals about Bush is not true of Obama, then clearly he is not as prepared and brilliant as his hypnotized Obamatons think he is.
Either way, it’s frightening, but if the second is true, then he is already showcasing the lack of experience that his critics have been pointing out since he became the Democrat nominee.
Let’s hope his learning curve isn’t so steep that it kills us.
Tomorrow we’ll analyze the effect of his (are they his or not?) executive orders. Here’s a hint: we’re already less safe, and he’s only been in office for two days.
